Its awesome, bought mine in early January, got an 06 Limited model and love it. If you want a large luxury car and don't want to spend $45K+ on a comparable Acura/Audi/BMW/Lexus/Infiniti then the Azera is your secret weapon. I only paid $25,300 for my limited with the Ultimate Accessory package (that's everything) and dealers still have the 06 in stock so you should be able to get that price or better since its mid-March now. The Azera is so roomy and feature ladden, the only possible complaint is that the big 3.8L V6 does consume some gas, I only average 20-21 mpg though I only average about 30-33 mph based on the onboard computer. That big engine gives you tons of highway power though, need to pass that 18-wheeler doing 70mph, no problem getting to 90 in just seconds, I heard the top speed is 140+.

I looked at this car as a replacement for my Nissan Maxima and fell in love with it. I decided to buy the Azera instead of another Maxima because not only did I save $5000, but just wanted something that not everyone else has and I think is better then the Maxima or Avalon that I test drove. Its amazing to see that Hyundai has gone from bottom of the heap to almost the top in quality this decade, currently #7 out of 36...Mercedes is dead last at 36!!!

My co-workder just took me for a ride on his brand new Azera. He also offered me to test drive it and I did. I would say it is pretty spacious and comfortable overall. however, you wouldn't find the quality in Acura or Lexus. I own both Acura TL and Lexus LS430 so I don't think Azera has ever come close to build quality, ride, ergonomics, comfort, and more importantly the reliability. BTW, it should be the time for Hyundai to come up with a nav system for such car in order to compete with others. Also it has a poor resale value compare to let's say an Accord or Camry.

I don't own one, but my friend is a parts manager at a Hyundai dealership, and he liked it very much. It won the JD power award for best vehicle under $35,000. Hyundai's are very good (engineering&quality), especially in the last couple of years. Take it for a test drive and see how you like it. If you get one.......can I borrow it once in a while?
Cheers,
Daniel
