You can have a relationship with a guy for a couple of years and think every thing is going fine as that's how it appears and then one day out of the blue, he has lost the feelings that he has had for you with no warning. What ever happen to commnication during the years you were happy together?

Men, myself included, are very proud. And, when we open up about something important (feelings, relationships, even financial issues) it's makes us vulnerable. Plain and simple we don't want to feel vulnerable. It makes us feel like we're not alphamale we all want to be. It also comes from a need to work things out by ourselves; like we don't need help with anything. Yes, it's a little pathetic, but a lot of guys' self-esteem is tied up in feeling like we can overcome problems by ourselves, or at least keeping up a strong image.

there was obviously something about ur relationship that he didn't like and was too afraid to tell you. when he finally built up the courage it was really far in your relationship and thats where he made the mistake. Why don't you just ask him what went wrong and don't leave his side without an answer if he gives you one take it and leave if he doesn't still leave you have nothing to loose you're already broken up i imagine. take the chance and try to fix what got broken and was hidden under the carpet for so many years.

You seem to be angry about a certain situation, but please remember that not all guys are the same. I actually have better communication skills than my wife because I teach communications courses. I've found some women to be very much the same way as the guy you are talking about.

They do not communicate the way women do. They use actions and not words. Watch how he acts. Is he secretive, is he spending time with other people, and is he still having sex with you. If a guy is not having sex with you..trust me he is getting it somewhere else! You probably saw the signs, but chose to ignore them. Listen to your intuition.
