Sounds like a migraine to me. What migraine medicine? Fioricet? That should work. There are other migraine medicines that might work better for you. If you do not have a history of migraines, then you really should go see a doctor. Since you say you have migraine medicine, then the doctor that prescribed it should be able to see you on an emergency basis. It could just be some bug, like a virus. Also, it could be an insect bite. Only your doctor will be able to tell you, though.

What is wrong is that you should have started your migraine medication earlier in the onset of the migraine than you did. Once the chemical compounds have formed in the brain from a migraine attack, the medication has very little effect and you have to wait for your body to metabolize the compounds exciting your headache. Sometimes that can take days.
Imitrix, Amerge,Zomig all work by preventing the release of these migraine causing chemicals. Read the literature given with your medication. All of them say to take it early on in the process of a migraine. Otherwise the horses are out of the barn and now you are taking a $200 decongestant because the spot where they were going to do you good has already been passed.
The nausea and diarrhea are by-products of a severe migraine episode. Again a good reminder to take the medication earlier in the process.

I've been feeling the same. Try some ginger and mint tea, sweetened a little for the nausea. Hopefully it's just a bug that's been passing around. I've been feeling this way for the past half week or so, but as far haven't been miserable, just exhausted. Get some sleep, that also helped me bunches. If you continue to feel this way tomorrow, stop by a doctor's office. (I will be!)

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

It could be any number of things. I would suggest going to the doctor if you don't feel that you're getting any better. Be very sure to keep yourself hydrated though. If you have to, take some pedialyte. For the diarrhea, eat mostly bananas, rice, and apples.

I'd go to the doctor if I were you... There has been a flu going around that's just plain nasty. I know a handful of people who have had it and according to what their doctors told them it has a relatively high chance of turning into pnemonia... Then again you didn't say you're coughing, so who knows.

Well I think its the flu. Get to a doc asap. There are new drugs to shorten duration and lesson symptoms. Now get going, so you feel better sooner that later.
