Hey all i ve a query, i am used to walking or jogging for 4 to 5 miles a day and it takes around 40 mins, i ve started skipping rope now... can anyone tell me how many of those would equal my previous exercise... only a professional answer will get a thumbs up... so any fitness expert pls help me out

When I was in highschool we had to log our exercise for the week. On the chart of exercises, 10 minutes of skipping rope was the same as 10 minutes of running, 15 minutes of light jogging, or 30 minutes of walking.

Skipping is strenuous and may be hard to sustain for the 30 minutes that you need for a good aerobic workout.

and it also has a combination with other exercises so it doesnt get boring!!!
