Why do dogs prefer to urinate on car tyres?

Car moves in different area and the tyres collect smell from the area visited. Dogs want to dominate in their own area and they urinate on car tyres as a proof of their dominance.

Dogs are territorial animals. They mark their territory by the smell of their urine. As cars go around, any dog in whose territory it comes, masks the previous dog's urine by its own. Due to this, the next time the cars stops in some other place, the dogs there will do the same.
