if u want to grow waist length hair how many times should u cut your hair a month, weeks,yrs, etc.?

I use to have my hair that length. It depends on how fast your hair grows. But I would just get 1/2'' to 1'' trimmed every 8 weeks....or maybe 12 weeks if it grows slow. I am also assuming you are a girl...sorry if I have assumed wrong, but if you are, I would definitely suggest taking Prenatal Vitamins. My sister's hair use to be really thin and didn't grow very quickly and now that she's been taking the vitamins it is thick and growing really fast. Hope this helps!

They told me at the hair salon to cut it every 2-3 months because it breaks if you do not do that. My hair will not grow longer than the middle of my back.

you should always trim your hair every two weeks, it keeps it looking healthy and prevents split end. cutting your hair doesn't make it grow. It keeps your dead ends from splitting all the way up to your scalp and falling out. every 2 weeks is good

Sounds paradoxical - cutting hairs to grow hairs. I thought cutting makes it shorter ;-) Seriously unless you have split ends, don't cut, let it grow. Contrary to beliefs cutting hairs (unless there are split ends) does not aid growth.

you can't necessarily grow it that long - some people can, but just like the hair on the rest of your body (ie, eyebrows, arms, etc), the hair on your head is told by your body when to stop growing longer... how often you cut it actually has no bearing.
