My brother in law gave me his disk to use and i need to upgrade it to at least 10 to use my library's ebook's. Can anyone help?

go on the windows media player website and download the newest eddition.

This is how Microsoft stops piracy. Illegitimate copies of software cannot be upgraded. You need a legal copy of Windows and the product key, you register, and you're good to go.
