No you're not. There is no such thing as a closet Catholic. You are either a Catholic or you're not. There is no in between.

When a Woman is pregnant, is she pregnant or just kinda pregnant? Think about it.

I read all the answers before I answered and I'm no happy with any of them. Why not just do what God ask and accept His Saviour Jesus Christ and repent of all your sins. Let God be a light unto your feet so you can see the path clearly and be pleasing unto the Father.

I don't know why anyone would want to join any religion and thereby putting it before God. Doesn't make sense to me at all. Time is almost up for this world age we exist in. Soon Satan will be here on earth pretending to be Jesus Christ. The Catholic Church won't tell you this or warn you about it. They will just hand you over to him and they themselves too.

Faith comes to a person by hearing the Word of God. Catholics don't hear the Word of God. Maybe selected verses and altered ones. No faith comes this way.

Sorry for the up front in your face approach, but it is my commission given me by Jesus Christ to warn them that do err.><>

In fact, the Bible is virtually silent on the subject of homosexuality because the word "homosexual" or "homosexuality" is not found in the Holy Bible.

Many good people build their case against homosexuality almost entirely on the Bible. Unfortunately, many of them have never really studied what the Bible does and doesn't say about homosexuality.

What the Bible does say, in the Sodom story, is that same sex gang rape is immoral.

It says in Leviticus that homosexual acts were condemned when they violated ancient Hebrew purity and holiness codes.

The Pope publicly apologizes for rampant pedophilia in the Catholic Church.

The Church leader always hide from this verse, "I am what he made," Matthew said. "If he made me with these feelings, who am I to question?"

Anyway on Judgment Day, it's just you and God and He hates immoral act or practice.

Sooner or later you will have to come out. My suggestion is get it over and done with as quickly as possible. Either way they are not going to like your decision so why not do it now? Just have good reasons why you are converting. It might help to bring a friend with you when you break the news.
Peace and every blessing!

did u know a man can give u more pleasure, we have hands, and the equipment, and the the taste buds. only true pleasure can be found with a man and a woman, u will only get second best with the same sex. the devil is only trying to get u to not experience your body and throw u into hell. for he hates sex and will manipulate it anyway possible. sex is also the way of life, u won't even have children, your family line will die. u can also ask God in prayer to clean it...and make u straight.

How can you convert to something that you already claim to be? Why are you in the closet about being a Catholic? Is it that bad? Your family might not approve but if they love you, they'll accept it at some point. They might not like it but you've got your own life to lead and you're free to choose your own path.

Telling your non-Catholic family that you want to convert can be a serious challenge. I don't really know what to say except that if they really love you then they will accept your decision.

When you feel you are ready to join or just learn more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.

You can go and ask any questions you want.

This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.

There is no obligation to become a Catholic.

With love and prayers in Christ.

Don't be afraid to do what you know is right, some of my family is still protestants but thankfully i was born and raised Catholic, I see a big difference in our beliefs but mine just seem so much more reliable than theirs. Convert to Catholiscim as soon as you can, you never know when you might die or when Jesus will come back in all his Glory. God Bless, I'll pray for you.

Well I guess the real question is: why is it a problem to tell family in the first place? (Are you a religion already, or a non-religion for that matter, that they would have a problem with you being Catholic?)

Why not just tell them to visit Y!A and look for Q/A under your profile name? I think they might can figure things out from there.
