I'm not saying he is, but lets say that this "God" was the devil and he had a son whom some know as "Jesus" and that that is why he had all this powers as did his father and what not. How would you feel? How do you think all his followers would react? (I just want your honest opinion on how YOU would feel or others? please don't give me crap like your an anti whatever crap.. just your honest opinion, I'm trying to do a research) Please have an open mind people..

He already gave that title to another group of people: Jews (who didn't follow him). You can read it in the book of John 8 (my source below) if you'd like. He calls them the "sons and daughters of the devil."

Yes... antisemitism was started by the most unlikely source. Look in my source and read under "the children of Abraham then read "the children of the Devil."

Fascinating insight into the psychology of both Jesus and religious anti-semites.

I can debate Religious what ifs. However, there is one flaw in your thinking. We know the devil is evil. It would follow that his son would be like him. What did Jesus do when he was here? His actions were good. And some said 'he cast out demons because he is from the devil', just as you are suggesting. But if we look at his works we see that he is representing the power of goodness, not evil.

Now here is another idea and more plausible. What if we find out that Jesus is the son of Mary when she was raped?

As to the power that Jesus had, we all have this power. He even said so. The power of light is greater than the power of darkness. What Jesus did shows that he was following the light, however he did it.

I really don't think people would be able to accept it. If the past few years of militant Christian rule in this country have taught us anything it's that most Christians REFUSE to admit they're wrong. They'd probably just start a big PR campaign saying that evil is good (unfortunately, I'm not saying that sarcastically). As for me -- well, I suppose I'd be a little disappointed because I was brought up Christian but I have long since given up on that and have become Buddhist. The parents are thrilled ;) HAHA

Hubboy! No one would believe it! They'd be arguing that one for decades. There would be anarchy because now the church leaders would all be labelled preachers for Satan. People would lose hope and self-destruct because Satan is the enemy and anyone who follows him is Satan's servant. People would think, "I'm going to hell. THis isn't fair! And where would they turn to? The last time they believed something it was a trick. An ex-JW knows! and there would also be anarchy because some people would say, " now I have an excuse to be bad!" Hopefully, some people would say, " I guess what Jesus was trying to say was,'bad is good and good is bad. So bad isn't really bad. It's good. Maybe Satan is good too and God is bad and that's okay.'" Tricky, but it works! They would have to redefine Satan to start believing that he's their new god and it's still a better world to do good even if Satan's running their lives and life is worth living after all.

What do you mean “son of the devil”? He IS the devil. More precisely he is Lucifer the light-bearer (aka Venus the morning star).

Here’s the biblical evidence…

2 Peter 1:19
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

That “morning star”, is “Venus” or Lucifer.

Then those who hated the Truth claimed to be the son of God, although they were really sons of the Devil.

As a Christian..who knows Jesus...communicate with him, have experienced his love...it's quite hard for me to think of him as the devil...He is GOD...whatever he is i am behind him...but he is not the devil...He is love, he is Jesus...son of God...:)
umm...what kinda research is that...??sounds fishy!!-God is strong enough and existant enough to reveal himself to whoever seeks him wholeheartedly...do you agreee??!! if you do ask him in faith? you'll receive your answer [just don't expect it to come in a specific way]peace:D:D (rabbena ma'ak, God be with you in Arabic)

i believe the thought of this wouldnt happen because of the person's faith in the invisible, but incredible, indescribable 'thing'.
but, if it did happen, then i would think of all the times that i thought that Christianianty was the wrong answer to life.
there were times that i doubted my religion, and i would reget not getting more influences to other resources.

other than that, i think that would never happen.
