I'm a nurse and impatient treatment is the very best. I am so sorry to hear this. If this person has no insurance then go to the media, you will be surprise how many wonderful doctors will foot the bill. Take care and I wish you all the best.

The best suggestion I can give is to a intervention. Tell her why you want her to go to rehab to get help and tell her why you care about her. Rehab is the most effactive way because I don't think you can get her off crack alone.

i know this will sound really weird but maybe you could scare her out of it. My mom just told me a story about someone she knew who was on crack, then their mom one day said "I saw a green demon following you" and then he just quit.
Other than that please be sure to help your friend get into a good rehab center and help her find support groups. Also support her yourself so she won't give up.

You can't help her get off of crack, she's got to want to do it. My uncle has smoked crack for years, we offered to send him to rehab, he wouldn't go. Sadly your friend is going to have to hit rock bottom before she can be helped.

Try to get her into a support group. Ask a local mental health clinic or hospital how you can help.
