well ur in my position and i'm in ur position, i have this constant battle with myself every night, its sort of 50/50 because sometimes i'll do my homework and stay up hella late, and other times i'll just say "ah furget it" and go to sleep, like tonight instead of being on here i should be reading, but hey i'm kinda tired and just wanna do what makes me feel kinda better lol, so i suggest do your homework if neccesary, i always do, right now i can afford to slack off just a lil, but not for long :)

Definitely rest. If you stay up late "studying," chances are you won't remember a damned thing. Staying up late "studying" is considered cramming, and cramming is proven to not work. Rest is proven to help develop memory skills. So you should study during the day, perhaps right after school days so you are able to do other sh!t at night. Then go to sleep at a decent time so you can get a minimum of eight hours of sleep.

Now I never do that, but I'm not they type that has to study to get good grades, so I just skip that step completely. And I never get eight hours of sleep, and I feel like sh!t all the time, so I suggest you get plenty of it.

My suggestion would be to stay up late and study as often as you need to- except on the night before a test. It really doesn't do any good to cram if you're going to be too out of it to remember what you read, anyway. I think the best way to study is to just stick in a half hour here and there, or make note cards to study from when you're standing in line, or something. Really, there is usually enough time to do whatever you want to do- you just have to find it.

Rest. Study like hell a week before the big test. For the day before the test, rest, and get a good breakfast. Don't study up late the day before the test, but do so on some earlier date.

Do your homework, chances are you will study your subject at the same time. Then go to bed. Try to study in the morning a little. Don't exhaust yourself.
And get off the computer asap. :)

Go to bed early, but get up an hour or two early and do your homework.

Doing your homework tired won't work well, and you'll be tired tomorrow.

Sleep now, and you'll get your work done and only start to get tired later in the day, but not be tired ALL day.

Try studying and doing homework as soon as you get home from school, because it is better to get rest instead of doing your homework last minute! :D

You need to make you a timetable. You NEED your rest just as much as you need to do your homework. If you feel sleepy, dont push it, just go to bed and rest. Then when you get up, your head will be fresh and ready...

There is a fine line, but sleeping is more important than studying for too long. Studies show that.

get a good nights sleep and wake up early and review. You will be suprised at how much better you can study when you are refreshed than tired.
