Busch cars have a wheel base of 105 inches vs 110 inches for Cup cars. Busch cars have more rear downforce, due to the taller rear spoiler. Busch cars run @ 750 HP, where the cup cars run @ 850.

The cars are close enough that cup teams can get some basic information from the Busch event. But there are differences in the engines with less horsepower, the wheel base is shorter and the cars are more of a down force car so the overall set up is different.

Major Difference is in HP and Aerodynamics. Cup Cars run around 850 hp,while Busch is about 750 hp. Also the spoiler on the cup car is shorter then the Busch car. Finally the wheelbase is 5 inches shorter on the Busch compared to cup 110" to 105"

Busch and Cup cars are basically the same except for the tires and slight aerodynamic differences. The engines may be restricted more in Busch cars depending on which type of track they are at, which results in less horsepower.
