This is like asking which statement is more true

1) Most car mechanics have used the Internet

2) Most Internet Technical support people have read the 2007 Scion Maintenance manual

Just because you've read some part or even all of the bible doesn't mean you understand it and in comparison some so obscure as the "The God Delusion" isn't even fair to expect a majority of Theists to have read it. That will be a fair questions when The God Delusion is in the draw in ever hotel room and has been the best selling book for 1,000 years in a row.

The god delusion is not something most theist would touch. To be fair the question should be between a bible and any well written Atheist book. Since no single atheist book is as well known as the bible.

Neither. I think there are probably more people who claim to be Christian who have read the God Delusion than people who claim to be Atheist who have read the Bible, but that's only because the Bible is a terrible book to read, cover to cover. Dawkins' work is MUCH more readable and applicable.

I think most Atheists understand the Bible better than most Christians and they probably understand Dawkins' work better as well, which is what I think the point of your question was.

I would think that most atheists have actually read the Bible. They have something to disprove so they are looking for evidence. People who believe in God are satisfied with what they have and do not require proof to know that the atheists are wrong. People of faith can not be shaken by any information because their faith is not based on data. (nor should it be)
