My best friend had just called me to see if I wanted to go out to kick with his other homeboy and five girls. He tried to butter it up by saying " Man, it's us 3 with 5 five girls. Come on, you gotta go!!". Now, I had to think about the type of friend I have. He's the selfish and cocky type so I know he didn't want me to go for my interest but his. He like's to put on a front and use me to charm the girls. So, I thought of all that during the conversation and decided to tell him " NO, I got stuff to do". I know Im missing out on meeting five beautiful women but I refused to be a puppet for someone. What would you have done?

It sounds like you did the right thing. Guys like that are a dime a dozen and the girls he'll end up with are usually of the same type. You don't need the headache.

well.. follow your heart. i mean, if you "score" with the girls, its you who made the scores not him right? so, he cant "win" over you then
but, IF the guy is asking you out to score the girls by making a laughing stock out of you (past "hangouts"), then i would advise you not go.
hey, if you dont take this opportunity, im sure there are other places where you can meet people. this is NOT the only chance to get to know the opposite sex

I would have done exactly what you did. You had a bad feeling, and trusted your instinct. You did the right thing.

Always trust your gut. You also need to think about the friends you have.
