How many out there would really say that to them the risk of being hurt in some form or another really out ways the negective side of a good caring guy who like sharing your time & hearing about your day but who might not be demeaned as exciting as a bad boy. I ask because a friend of mine recently broke up with her livin bf who would to most people fit the bad boy thuggish image & she talked about how she wants a nice caring guy she doesnt have to worry about yada yada yada but how rare they are. I replied as did several others that she probably knows one or two but doesn't give them a chance since often their not necassarily known for their partying or more dangerous sides. I then added that even so it seems easier to spice up a nice guy then tame a wild one to which she seemed to agree however she's already hanging with another "thuggish" type yet still complainting...

The excitement is what draws her to the bad guys in the first place and excitement is usually present in good first impressions. The element of surprise and unpredictable future are good reasons why she may choose these types. Hopefulness is the reason why she chooses them over and over again. I believe people are too hopeful as it is and she may think that he will change. The other reason is that he may change "FOR HER" which would make her special.
Good guys may appear predictable and it seems like u can foretell your whole future together from the start and that is obviously boring. Also, if someone is willing to give u everything u may not want them as much cuz they're already doing all the work for both in the relationship. I think in both cases it's a lost cause. U can spice up a good guy but eventually you'll see his predictability again. You can make a bad guy into a good guy but ur interest will be lost because it took so much work to accomplish, so u remember all the bad parts. The best solution is balance, a little of a good guy a little of a bad guy is perfect or at least two people who are similar to each other in those categories.

Maybe I am a little older than you. As I see it, many women are drawn to the bad boy when they are younger, but they turn to the nice guy later when they are really ready to settle down. Let her get it out of her system. She'll eventually come around to the nice guy side when she gets tired of being played over and over again by thugs.

I'm a bit like your friend.........I tend to be very attracted to the "bad boys". Even though they're harder to tame, they're such a challenge. There's a sense of mystery, danger, excitement to them. These guys usually have a very strong exterior and alluring confidence. It makes a woman want to explore and discover the nice and sweet man deep down inside. It's a matter of what we WANT and what we NEED........2 totally different things!!
