terrorists all the while doing everything they can to pull the US military out of Iraq so we don't fight them? Isn't that ironic?

I sincerely think the Pakistani government should pass a non binding resolution to promise to do better in the future.

The democrats could really relate to that.

I am very proud of you. There is a saying that Americans have no idea what true irony is, but you have spotted it head on. You would expect the exact opposite from them, but we are seeing something else. I think the Democratic party has no real idea where they are heading or are planning on heading tomorrow any more than I think the weatherman can tell me whats going to happen three weeks from now.

Yes it is ironic. It's also ironic that democrats say they support the troops, yet they publicly undermine them everyday by sowing seeds of discontent for their own political advancement.

Wake up and smell the jihad democrats!

there weren't terrorists in Iraq until the US invaded.

so, to answer your question, threatening Pakistan with cuts for not living up to their end of the deal (99% of all militant islam can be traced directly back to Pakistan) is not ironic, it's the right thing to do.
