I remember that a stick is how they made scripture in bible times--A scroll.

15. The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
16. Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick...For Judah... then take another stick...For Joseph...
17. ...join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
19. ...Thus sayeth the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Isreal his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

The Bible is from the decendants of Judah, son of Isreal(Jacob).

The decendants of Joseph, also a son of Isreal, came to the Americas. This has to be the Book of Mormon.

Read the title page of the Book of Mormon for further evidence.

Descendants of the tribe of Joseph immigrated to the Americas as recorded in the Book of Mormon. This would imply then, that the stick of Joseph is the Book of Mormon, a companion volume to the Bible.

Eze 37:16 "Son of man, take a stick and write on it, 'For Judah, and the people of Israel associated with him'; then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.'

Eze 37:19 say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand.

Ezekiel was next commanded to take two sticks, one representing Judah and the other Israel (Joseph or Ephraim). By holding them end to end, he joined them . . . into one stick. This meant that the two kingdoms, torn apart in the days of Rehoboam, would be reunited. One king (the Messiah) would reign over them, and they would be saved, cleansed, and restored.
