I am a man who has a woman friend that I have known for a few years. In the last few months, I have developed feelings for her. I want her to be more than just my friend. We are both single so there are no adultery issues. For those of you who have experienced such situations, what is a woman likely to do if a man confesses his feelings to her but she doesn't feel the same way? Does that usually end the friendship as well? Is being honest really the best policy or should the feelings remain hidden to avoid ruining the friendship? I really need a female point of view on this subject.
