I hate to sound cliche, but Proactiv is THE solution to acne! I used to have really bad acne and I would break out a lot before I began using it, but within just a few days, less than a week after first starting it, I began to notice my skin clearing up and after about a month, my skin was beautifully clear. Now, over 4 years after first starting to use Proactiv, my skin is still clear and radiant (and the best part is getting compliments from people who say that my skin looks great -- they never know I used to have horrible acne!! :D).

I would definitely recommend at least trying Proactiv -- give it a shot because you have nothing to lose but your pimples. As a worst case scenario, if it doesn't work for you, (although I'm sure it will . . . . ) you can always return the Proactiv (I think that they have a money-back guarentee).

Some helpful hints and tips for you when using Proactiv (that I've learned from my own experience):
Definitely use the Proactiv twice a day, as it says on the package, or else you will get less than optimal results (don't be lazy or else your face will reflect it . . . . .)
The Proactiv can dry your skin out, so make sure to use a facial moisturizer at night or under your makeup (I like Oil of Olay and Pro-Vitamins from Bare Minerals).

I'm just an average person who is absolutely fanatical about (and swears by) their Proactiv (if this sounds like a salesperson, sorry, I'm not . . . . lol). Proactiv absolutely worked for me, and I hope that you'll give it a shot.

Good luck -- hope that this helps you!!! :D

Try it for the 30 days or whatever then send back the empty bottles for a full refund. It did work for me for the first week bt then my face got worse as I used it. Now I use the Acne Free, you can buy it at walmart for about 24 bucks and I also use the blackhead terminator from that line for about 5 bucks. Best skin since I was 11

I doesnt work , I ve tried Retin A, proactive,
over the counter pads, creams , salycilic acid seems to work better than benzol peroxide cream , BUT still doesnt quite do the trick
I have found something that actually DOES work .
It's called Susan's Products . She started a small factory in Pasadena , CA . I called her a couple weeks ago and she is going to start having her craem sold in AVON !
It does work , so when AVON starts to sell it , make sure you try it !

It works for some. ProActiv worked for a couple of months for me, then out of no where i would break out in the worst acne I've ever had. Also, it made my skin so oily.
