I'm 29 years old and I'm a virgin. To answer your question, it depends on who the people are. Some people will admire and respect you for being one and will encourage you to stick to you values and others will scorn and poke fun. Those people who scorn and poke fun of you for being a virgin are probably jealous so they compensate their jealousy by making fun of you, looking down on you, and accusing you of being "better than," or "holier-than-thou." I have experienced this for a lot of years and I am still standing strong. There is nothing wrong with you, you are just as normal as any non-virgin in this country. I think it's ok to be a virgin at any age if you ask me. So stay committed to purity, you're on the RIGHT track!!!!

Hey man u should be very proud of being a virgin dude. Im 39 and still a virgin myself. Of course most of society looks down upon that because they have mostly lost their morals but im sure the woman u find will treat u right because she will know that ur a serious guy who isnt looking to play any childish games.
Dont worry about what others think. Just know that you have guts for going against the grain and sticking with ur convictions. What your doing is 100% right and ur future wife and kids will thank you for it

I'm actually a 24 year old virgin too and I decide a couple of months ago to lose mine. I always wanted to wait to but now I'm afraid I wasted a big part of my life I wish I would have took some of those opportunities. I actually lost a girl because she didn't want to take my virginity. I got to be honest with you though I don't know how you are going to handle it. Her having had sex and not wanting to sleep with you until marriage your a better man then me. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

Is it ok to be a virgin at 24? Are you seriously asking that question? That is most definatly admired. People have sex with one another these days as often as they shake hands. And it's all thanks to movies like "40 year-old virgin" and the infamous "American Pie" movies. They degrade everything sacred about relationships. Props to you bro. You are one of the few who actually care about relationships and respect a womans body as a woman and not a sex object. And don't believe that bullcrap about "oh we loved each other and so we shared ourselves with each other." That is bull and it is known that when unmarried couples are intimate with each other, it rarely lasts. If you really love someone, then marry them.

I think it's great you are still a virgin although the age part really doesn't matter. Just that you are waiting for the right girl and to get married. Cool!

Yes, It is okay. Don't worry about not being a good lover when you do become one. Great sex comes with time and with the same partner. The first time you have sex it will not be the best sex. That comes with getting to know your partner and what they like and don't like. I admire you for waiting. This day in age it is also safer.

Don't worry. Though I'm not in my mid 20's, just 20, I would love to find a guy like you who's willing to wait 'till he's married because I'm doing the same thing also. Trust me, just keep waiting. You'll find the "right" girl.

i think that that is cool. I am planning on doing the same thing. I dont think it is weird. i am nervous about the same thing when i am your age. and i know its like you feel your not accepted, but there is nothing wrong with being a virgin at your age....I have a professor who is 60....she's a virgin! and she's been married! now that is weird!

There's nothing wrong with that, and it's a lot more common than you think. Most people just don't like to share that type of information. You sound like a great catch and lots of girls would love to find a guy like you. Sounds like you two are in agreement about the issue, sounds like she may be the one. Good luck!
