I really need advice here, guys and girls! Everytime I look I catch her eye, then look away so she dosent think i'm staring. She's really beautiful, and funny, but she never seems to hand around me for a long time. Everytime we talk, she seems embarrased or something. Does that me she likes me because she's embarrased? She talks with my best friend more then me, and I think she just likes him and considers me as his loser friend. What do I do? I've tried to catch her alone and talk, but she's always with a big group of friends. I really need answers. Just go ahead and ask her out? Or try more subtly? Or just ignore her and find somebody else?

You have to learn body language. When you speak to her in a group or otherwise check out her body language. If she turns her whole body to face you this is the "in" signal. Subconsciously she is including you in her space and excluding the others. If she looks right at you but keeps her body turned away, that is a neutral position. She likes you but not that much. Not yet, anyway. If she keeps her body turned away and doesn't face you or look at you when she responds, you are "out" she is just being polite.

If you get the "in" signal, you must separate her from the herd by asking her to walk with you or something like that. You cannot hit on her with others around. If she won't break off from the herd, let it go. If after a couple of tries she won't separate from the herd, move on to someone else.

She could be embarrassed to be seen with you, but I think she's just shy/nervous. That explains why she's trying to be friends with your best friend, so she could get to know you a little better. Try talking to her more, ask for her myspace/sn/facebook/phone #/whatever. If she pushes you away instead of warming up to you, move on.
