No, if you have been overeating a fast is NOT a good idea. You may last the 24 hours but once you get that first bite of food into your mouth you might binge or overeat even more. Honestly just start tomorrow like all those days of overeating never happened. Good Luck!!

Not necessarily would a fast get you "back on track". What do you consider "on track"? Consuming enough calories to maintain present weight, less so you lose weight or in the balance of types of food you eat? Fasts have been around for millennium
You should eat a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. Avoid saturated and polyunsaturated fats like the plague and drink plenty of water each day. This should help you maintain good health and fell good emotionally as well. Good luck child.

No, not a good idea to fast for a couple of days. Try having three small healthy meals with no snacking for a while to get back on track.

I wouldn't fast... Just start eating sensible portions that are spread out through about 5 SMALL meals each day...

well...you could....but i suggest that you start the next day off with lots of water and lite foods.....leave off the fats and carbs...at least until you get back on track.....increase your physical activity

it is ok to fast... but not ok to starve... if i were you i'd do a liquid diet for a day.... drink V8 & fruit juices, this way you don't start feeling overly hungry
