I operate my business from the house. Unfortunately, there is no space in my house except my bedroom for my office desk, which comes with fax, phone, pc, etc. I heard it's unhealthy, and am beginning to think it is - each time I see my PC as I wake up, I have the urge to work right away!

Well doctors do say that your bedroom should be used for sleep only or you will be more compelled to get up and work. Your sleep is important and you cant run a good business if your not sleeping well. Figure something else out. Make your bedroom a special place just for relaxing and sleeping.

I think it is unhealthy to have all of your work stuff in your bedroom, just because of the stress factor. A person's bedroom should be their own personal comfort zone, a place to be free of all the stresses of life- school, work, etc.. You are probably thinking about work when you go to sleep and first thing in the morning, which means you are feeling stressed out and probably not getting the best quality sleep possible. This can definitely affect your health negatively.

I have heard that it is best to reserve the bedroom for sleeping, period. Some even think that having a tv in the bedroom isn't healthy.

I have my desk and computer in my bedroom as well. I believe I am not sleeping as well with it in there. It might be a feng shui problem.

It's not unhealthy unless you're a work-aholic. Maybe, if you are, you should seek help by joining work-aholics anonymous or something.
