Yes, for many reasons as stated by previous answer-ers. It also helps you to sleep well, too.
The major problem is, besides the breath issue, your whole body will be skunked with the putrid smell of garlic whether you sweat much or not, even after you rinse your mouth & wash your body. Its odor won't be obvious to you, but it will be totally noticeable to the people around you. So make sure you sleep alone.
Garlic supplement pills are available & has less odor but still its not like the real thing, I guess. My father & plenty of other elderly relatives are digging it because they actually feel good after eating it. To me, the smell is just pungent.
I prefer to have it roasted on the garlic bread or pasta. I can't eat it straight up raw or whatevs.
I have never heard of anyone OD'd on garlic so knock your self out with the servings of garlic, but a key I like to maintain is balance when it comes to food.

Yes, although it stinks up your breathe. My dad eats a clove of garlic everyday. I dont understand how he does that. But all in all garlic is great for your health
