What will work best really depends on the materials and colours of your home and yard but classic Chinese red is always a winner!

It depends on what color your house is, and if it's the inside or outside of the door. Earthtones are pretty safe colors, however if you want to make a statement you can get crazy, I had a neighbor that used to paint their door every couple of months. It started out Red and then it was yellow, blue, purple and the last I seen it was orange.

Find a color you like and compliments the colors on the rest of the house. THAT is the right color for the front door.

Depends on the color of your house. Drive around a neighborhood near you and just find one that you like. Red is popular with many people. Or you could paint it the same color as the trim on your house, but that may clash a little bit.

Your front door is the center of attention on your lawn....you want passerbys to naturally be drawn to it. The best color is red. But i have seen people use colors that match their shutters as well. It all depends on your personal preference.

Well first it should be a different but coordinating color that goes with your current house and window frame colors..So in all when you look at your house you should see 3 colors in all: house color, window framecolor and door color the frame can match that of your window frame color...

There are plenty of good colors but it would help to know the type of door, the color of your house and trim, etc. Paint it whatever looks good to you and if anyone else doesn't like it, that's their problem.

Whatever colour you are comfortable with. I've seen purple, pink, blue, red---
I guess anything goes. Our son painted their front door and the garage cream.
Our daughter in law painted vines running across the garage and the front door.
It looks really sharp.

If you have shutters on your house, you'll probably want to paint them the color. Most front doors I've seen were: black, red, gray (mine is gray), brown. It all depends on your siding.

White is classic but I've always liked a rich, dark red with a brass kick plate at the bottom. Beautiful!
