After I sucessfully make the 1st one, the others turn to crap. They will stick to the pan and burn really quickly.

How high should I turn the oven? (I turn it all the way to High)

How often should I spay the pan with cooking spray? (I spray it before I start the 1st pancakes, thats it)

How long should I keep the pancakes to cook on each side?( I wait until the 1st side starts to bubble on the outter edge.)

Thanks a lot for your help.

well your heat shouldn't be on high about medium or less

make sure your using enough oil in you skillet i like to spray mine with cooking spray let it heat up a bit then add my oil and let that heat up a bit

pour your batter in the bigger tha pancake the harder to flip
let the top side come to a bubble not just around the edges but in the middle too so it does get done

when in full bubble mode flip

this side will only take a few minutes

after you take this one out look at your oil do you still have pleny in there is the skillet good and wet looking if not well your going to burn

your not really frying the pancake its kinda like deep frying the pancake

It sounds like you have two problems. The frying pan should be on medium not high. Flip the pancake when the bubbles appear throughout the the pancake, not just the edges. Butter tastes better than spray (although the spray may be healthier.) Either way, lube the pan lightly before each batch unless you're using a non-stick pan.

Get a non-stick frying pan, even with that I take a little oil on a piece of paper towel and coat the pan. If you put less that a drop of water in the frying pan, and it sizzles, your ready to go. And you are doing the right thing by waiting for the sides to bubble and make sure the top looks a little dry. and then flip. you shouldn't have any trouble, with the others. Keep the burner on medium heat, if you see that you are having trouble, then lower it a notch. You have to make the adjustments, as every ones stove is a little different.

Sounds like you may need to lightly spray the griddle before each batch and there should be bubbles across the whole surface of the pancake before flipping it. Medium flame turns out the best pancakes.

Turn the heat down! Medium not high! Your flipping procedure sounds fine. I don't use cooking spray, I use butter. The same thing happened to me with cooking spray, never happpens to me with butter.
