Grammar checking is a very complicated process. When using Grammar checking, carefully watch when it is questioning your use of a word (use an outside source to double check the proper syntax) and when it indicates a word correction. It is worst on profession-specific terms and phrases.

You might want to double check your grammar checking settings. Tools>Options Spelling & Grammar tab, then under Grammar Settings, click on the Settings icon and review what options are selected for the Grammar Checker to review.
