I was prescribed some medication. I am supose to take it four times a day. If I take my first dose at 10:00 am and my last dose at 2:00 am, what time should I take the other two doses. So they are evenly spaced.

I just can't figure it out.

You should either take your 4 times/day medicine every 6 hrs. or every 5 hours when you are awake. For instance, take it at 6 am, 11 am, 4 pm, 9pm.

There should be a 6 hr gap between each dose.So if you take your last dose at 2am and the 1st dose at 10 am that means the gap between these 2 doses are 8 hrs. This is not good for your health. So the best thing is to take the medication at 6am,12noon,6pm and at 12 mid-night each day.

Change it to 8 am, 2pm, 8pm, 2 am. They need to be spaced out 6 hours apart for the drug to be most effective.
