Promises, promises...

Hangovers certainly are discomforting. How long you suffer is based on how much you drank. A hangover is actually a mild form of acute alcohol withdrawal. Figure 6 to 8 hours.

You certainly can take a pain reliever such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or better yet, Aleve (naproxen). Take as directed on the label, more is not always better. You may want to take some Tums (calcium carbonate) to settle your stomach. Most importantly, is drink plenty of fluids. Much of the suffering you feel is from dehydration. And get some rest, too.

A couple of words of caution - some people will say to have "a hair of the dog that bit you," which is slang meaning to take another drink of booze. It will actually relieve some of the suffering, but I don't recommend it.

Remember this credo - "Nothing in excess, the key to long life is moderation." Except for maybe sex and Yahoo Answers!! Just kidding - maybe!

I hope this helps.

Drink plenty of water and take 3 Advil. Then, get some rest. Oh yeah, don't drink again for seven years.

on average, it will last bout half a day, depending on hoqw you look after yourself. the best to do, would be to lie down and try to fall asleep for a few hours. that works best for me. aslo drink some water. you will be fine

It will end as soon as you get off the computer, take a couple tylenol or whatever you got on hand and sleep it off.
Get well soon :)

Probably a few hours. Maybe a little longer than normal for a first-time teenager.
Please don't drink again! :) Hope you feel better soon.
