negative ringworm culture, had Revolution, slightly itchy and has NOT spread to the other 4, lymph nodes NOT swollen, I'm finding new spots every few days. Puppy is healthy otherwise. Is on antibiotic x1wk and anitfungal x4wks oral meds. Cannot find anything that fits this skin disease since she had it at 1wk. old and it's not spreading to the others, only on her. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

The pup has seen 2 Vets and they are perplexed.2 skin scrapings showed NO mites (mange),but we treated with the Revolution anyways.Strangles usually presents with enlarged lymph nodes and hers are not. The meds are for fungus and underlying infection, but negative ringworm culture.Anyone with info on lupus? yeast? zinc deficiency? hormone problems? The pup WAS born with a deformity at the end of her tail, so possibly she has internal deformities also causing her skin condition. she's playful & healthy otherwise.we are checking into epidermal dysplasia. please help.thanks

She's a Rotty/Shepherd mix.Only thing constant that she could be allergic to is urine, since she had spots after coming from mom at 1 wk.old. Is off formula & on good quality puppy food now.

I know you said your vet already checked for this but it sounds like Demodex to me. You might want to get a second or even third opinion.

Also, puppies should not be fed a raw diet. And it sounds like this is still a puppy.

Sounds like Demodex
It's very difficult to diagnose sometimes.
The cure is good care, good food and time. (and all the meds your giving her)
Try feeding a good quality puppy replacement milk. Get one with the probiotics. If the pup is passed bottle feeding stage, mix it with whatever food your feeding. She also needs to be fed away from the other pups so you can be sure she's getting her share. Sometimes weaker, sicker puppies don't get to eat as much as the stronger ones.
Good luck

Breed please????? Is it a bulldog mix? Have seen the same thing on bulldog (pits) would just keep cleaning it off with warm water and a clean cloth. The pup will probably outgrow it and I think it is an allergy. Doesn't sound life threatening and should be gone before the pup is old enough to head to a new home--good luck -k-

It MIGHT be an allergic reaction to something. You could try 1/2 of a children's benadryl chewable tablet to see if that seems to help at all. It works w/ my dogs (but they don't have the skin problems.) Best of luck!

sounds to me like the mum or other pups have been licking her i would try putting some sudo cream on the area or else rub some diprobase cream onto the area until it has been fully absorbed it shouldnt do the other pups any harm if they lick her when she has the cream on. Its worth a try anyhow.
