Which kinds of biomes are least abundant?
The biomes are decidous forest,taiga,tropical rain forest,desert,tundra,grassland.

again all biomes are abunant in their own way. The lease amount of diveristy would be the tundra as there is less to support life. That is not to say the tundra can't support life it just can't support the quanities that the rainforest can.

Yes. It depends on what you mean by abundant.

My first instinct as I read your question would translate abundant as: "has the least area on the earth's surface": Are you limited only to those you list? (Those dots threw me.) Also, there are many classification systems, depending if you use broad categories or a system with finer classification your answer might be different. I'm looking at my Atlas..but I can't tell you much, if you look on line for a map you might search for world maps of natural vegetation or Ecoregions (if "Biomes" doesn't get results)

You could think about: species abundance, or which produces the most biomass.

I would agree that the tundra is the least abundant because it runs in a very narrow strip between the taiga and the oceans and Hudson Bay and does not cover all of the Arctic.
