i want to know if i can get my tongue peirced, the guy said that my web is too close to the tip, and i couldn't get it. is it possible to get it on a slight slant so that it can be farther back in my mouth so that it doesn't make constant contact with my teeth and doesn't peirce the web?

If your web is too close to the tip then take this as a sign and dont get it done. Get the web snipped???? NO WAY!!! Just so you can have a stud in your tongue?? If the stud is too far forward it will chip the back of your teeth away. Get one of those magnetic studs and clip it on your face somewhere, at least then you can take it off..... or consider piercing something else.

Get a second opinion. You can clip the tongue web if you need to, but this should be done by a pro who knows what they're doing. Piercing at an angle can increase the contact that the barbell has with your teeth. The top ball would be fine, but the bottom would most likely rub against your bottom teeth/gums causing problems.
If you need to pierce further forward, smaller jewelry can help mininize tooth damage. Without seeing your tongue, it's hard to say though.

Oh God! There is no way i would get it snipped! I would NEVER advise that to anybody! Your piercer is right. It will chip the enamel off the back of your teeth. I love piercings but my health comes first! And the "slant" your talking about would be nothing more than "crooked" and that would be unconfortable and youd probably just take it out anyway. Some piercings just dont work on some people. sorry! Hope this helps!

i'd get my tongue pierced returned, I took it off yet would get it returned. It did harm like hell for some hours and that i saved biting on it yet i do in comparison to abdomen because of the fact absolutely everyone has that, and that i don't wanna be a follower, nostril it harm like hell and that i became into bleeding lots so I took it off for interest. Lip, is a 80's element. and that i've got in no way seen a eyelid piercing. yet i'd get a marilyn Monroe piercing nonetheless, seems good.

go to a different piercer. they guy you went to doesnt sound very experienced. i have a short tongue bc my web goes out far, and they pierced my tongue so that the bottom hole is close-ish to the tip and the top is further back in the middle of my mouth

Dont do it I have 2 friends that got theirs done when they were 18 they are 28 now and it looks ridiculous its just not cute anymore

getting your tongue peirced is skanky and unnatractive
it portrays a completely horrible image and you KNOW that and the only reason people get it peirced is to portray that bad image.
you can say "it looks cool, i just want it" all you want but you just want to put yourself out that way admit it
you wouldnt wear a shirt that said "ii's easy to get in my pants" unless it was easy to get into your pants now would you?
