I know it has something to do with what Satan was doing to certain people at the time.

This isn't in the Bible. Its associated with
a demon and satan and other things. It has nothing to do with communion or the Holy Grail.

According to Brown's book, it refers to the womb of a women. Brown is no scholar though, only a writer of science fiction.

I have read the Bible through several times and I have never heard or read of such a thing.

Even in Biblical times, people held UNbiblical beliefs.
There is no such term used in Scripture.
