I have to get my wisdom teeth cut out in a week, but do they really make you wear a hospital gown during the surgery? If so, would they let me wear a jacket over it? If they see my arms, and the scars and cuts, they may make me go to the mental hospital...I want to get my wisdom teeth out, but I may have to cancel the appointmet.

Nahh. I just had all four of my wisdom teeth out not too long ago. i wore REALLY comfy clothes. I wore a t-shirt and sweat pants. you should wear a long sleeved shirt. not a sweatshirt or a jacket, since they will tell you to take it off. if you dont have a long sleeved shirt that is like a t-shirt material, you should go to walmart or something and just get a cheap one. but if your getting knocked out for the surgery, like i did, then they will have to pull your sleeves up to put your iv's in.

Sounds like you have other issues to deal with than your teeth. First things first, get your teeth taken out if they are bothering you. There's no need to suffer. Secondly, if the scars and cuts are a result of your hurting yourself, then you need to take care of that issue as well by seeing a professional. There's no need to continue down that path. Take care of yourself. Please!

HA HA HA. That was a funny image!

I have assisted on many wisdom teeth extractions, and no one has had to wear a hospital gown. Thank goodness, cause I wouldn't want to see some people in one.

IF THIS SURGERY IS T HAKE PLACE IN A DENTAL OFFICE, YOU WON'T NEED A GOWN.IF THIS IS ATA HOSPITAL, THEY WOULD SEE YOUR BARE ARMS. BESIDES, THE DENTIST WOULD NOT BE THE ONE TO GET INVOLVED WITH YOUR CUTTING OF YOURSELF.
