Wow! That's the greatest thing I've read on here in a while.
The key to the Rosary is to find a good booklet with the Mysteries and good art. The Mysteries are events in the life of Jesus and Mary. There are four sets of five Mysteries; Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious. You meditate on the Mysteries while praying the Lord's Prayer and Hail Mary. Having a booklet with images of the Mysteries really helps. I also find burning incense and candles helpful to put me in a meditative mood. I also have a crucifix, statue of Mary and a kneeler in the prayer corner in my bedroom. Sometimes I play Latin hymns softly in the background.
If you have any questions, please email me. I am something of an apologist (defender of the faith) and I pray the Rosary daily. You can also check-out my website for some material that shows the historical continuity of Catholic doctrine

Yeah i know what you mean. It's supposed to be meditative, so if you just think about the Mystery that you're praying while saying the Hail Mary's, it's easier and you get more out of it. Or if you concentrate on the words of the prayer, you get more out of it too. Hope this helps- be praying for you.

The point of the rosary is to mediate on the life of Jesus, it's all about meditation the hail Marys are just in honour of mary because it is her psalter, and you don't have to say the rosary there are other pious prayers. If it wasn't for the meditation it would be just vain words coming out of you.

Chant 5 in stead of 10 in each section. That way you only need to chant 25 times. Chanting Rosary is very good because it is repetitive it can help you relax just like chanting the Gregorian.
To help you prevent bordom, focus on the meaning on each sentence and word you utter. You'll find the beauty & the joy in it and won't be bored.
Good luck!

Yes it is hard to focus for that long I have the same problem sometimes but whenever you get distracted just try to bring yourself back to the prayer, as long as your distractions are not delibrate God will still be pleased with your efforts and prayers.

You are supposed to meditate on the mysteries. Try this:

Yes but the Catholics borrowed all their doctrines from other religions. Specifically, “Mary, queen of heaven” they got from the Gnostics, and the original (and older) one is “Hail Sophia, goddess of the heavens, holy wisdom, celestial bride, the cosmic christ is with thee.”
You would think the Catholics could be authentic in at least one single point. Nope, didn’t happen.
