First off, happy late birthday!
Second, what you describe, while kinda freaky, isn't always true. Take for example, the baseball player Mickey Mantle. All the other males (he father, uncles, grandfather, etc) died before they were 40. So, Mickey figured "What the heck?I'm probably going to suffer the same feat anyway" and proceeded to pretty much drink himself out of the game. Mickey Mantle lived into his 70s.
