I tell it to my friends all the time because I think it's just hilarious. For some reason, it annoys them. What do you think? Is it any good?

I am going against the grain here but I really think it's funny. Your friends might be annoyed because you are repeating yourself, not because of the joke. I like it.

no..sorry it's not that funny
mostly because you have to ask if it IS funny in the first place..
then you tell us how much you love it, thus building up the anticipation for something spectacular...
not trying to be rude..just honest criticism...but as long as you love it...keep tellin it!

maybe it annoys them because you tell it "all the time" and they are just sick of it.
I think it's worth a chuckle the first or maybe even the second time but beyond that it could get real stale real fast.
