here's how it is i am ten and theseboys were also ten and they were kicking my dog so i yelled at them and smacked one of the boys which was on of my friends should i sue for cruelty or should he because i slapped him?

Definitly report them to animal control. Animal cruelty is felony and can now have up to a 10,000 dollar fine. Tell your parents...

You can't sue anyone.But you and your dog have the right to not be bullied.You should have told your parents and had them call the police and animal control to report the incident.They'd have come out and spoken to the boys and their parents and if they ever tried to hurt you or your dog again they'd face being arrested.
There are animal cruelty laws that protect dogs from this type of abuse.

Oh the lovely things we teach our kids. First of all, you are 10 and can't sue anyone, you parents would have too. Did you or your dog sustain any lasting injuries, probably not. Where did you get the idea that you can sue for such a minor thing? There are people with real problems who don't need that kind of silliness clogging up the court system so neither of you should be suing anyone! This would be called a frivolous lawsuit (look it up). What the heck have kids fallen to. If you are 10 years old, why aren't your parents with you while you are on the Internet? Go tell them what happend.

I think you should make sure your parents know what is going on, just in case something does happen. You will need their help. I can not stand people that abuse animals. If you know their parents, maybe you should have you parents call them and let them know they were being abusive. I hope your dog wasn't hurt. I'm sorry for what happened. stay strong.

Puppa, you should tell your Papa-lol. Get your parents and let them handle this. Nobody should be sued but some kids sure need to be supervised. Hope your dog is ok. Legally, I think the dog kicking kid is in more trouble than the boy slapping kid. Good Luck -k-

I agree with Tifanny they have no right kicking your dog..I mean how would they feel if someone kicked them....I hate people who abuse animals they are just SICK and have nothin' better to do....So sue sue sue sue sue...!!!
