I met a guy at a bar a few mths ago and we've been chatting online every since (kind of died down lately). I told him that I wasnt interested in dating anyone right now when i first met him due to a breakup. It's been a mth or so now we just went for dinner 2 nights ago. I aimed him the next day but he wasn't really talkative, but he aimed me later that night...but wasnt very talkative either! And today he didn't sign onto aim. Is he playing the 2 day guy deal or he's trying to avoid me now? How can I let him know that I'm now ready to date and want to give him a chance?

everyone seems to be telling me to Tell Him, but since I asked him to hang out, shouldn't he know that I'm changing towards wanting to date...him...now? Or is that hint too subtle for a guy to pick up on?

It really depends on if you felt something when you went out with him and if he felt something. If a guy doesn't feel the attraction, he will lose interest. You started off on the wrong foot by telling him that you came out of a bad relationship and that you didn't want to date for awhile. He was interested in you then.
Try to create a more intimate atmosphere where the two of you can really talk and get to know each other. If he likes you, it will show. Then, you can take it from there.

you don't need to tell him that you are ready to date, he knows you are ready to date. You went on a date with him already. You need to ask your self if you are ready to date him seriously. You need to figure out what you want out of this because you don't realize that you control where this goes not him. You feel like you want to date him, then ask him out on a date. Make sure you pay for everything. That will clear up any confusion on your part.

Just come right out and say it to him. Let him know how you feel...what are you afraid of ? Rejection ? If he does that...then you're free to find somebody else and won't be left wondering what the deal is with this guy.

Flirt with him. Linger your eyes longer on him and make eye contact with him. He'll get the message that you're interested.
