Any 3 month puppy eliminates a lot
Are you feeding 3 times a day??
TO properly house train a puppy it is recommended to bring him/her outside once every 1/2 hour to an hour to make sure he/she understands that outside means the appropriate potty area.
Going on that info 7-8 times a day is lucky!!
If you are worried or haven't yet since getting your pup Please take it to the vet
Quality food does make a difference BUT a Puppy is a poop making machine regardless check out Dogfoodanalysis.com to do some research on High-Quality Dog Food

Puppies have to poo alot, my friend. He will most likely grow out of it. If it's diarrhea, you may want to take him to the vet. But puppies have such a short digestive track, the food just shoots right through their little poopers. Puppies can generally hold their waste for about an hour more than their age in months. Since he is 3 months old, he can probably hold it for 4 hours, which would equal about 7-8 times. He will grow out of it. sorry for your luck.

You are feeding your dog with a dog food with fillers. All fillers do is fill the dog up with useless material so it disposes of it. Try something like Science Diet. The dog will use the food and the dog will pass less

it sounds like you are feeding him a cheap **** quality food. your dog craps so much because he has to eat so much of the shitty food in order to get at least some of his daily nutritional requirements.
switch him to a premium brand. the price per bag is more, but the cost of feeding per day is much less than the cheap stuff. the premium foods are usually so nutrition dense, it only takes a small amount of food to provide his daily nutrition, and he has to eat less, and will in turn crap less.

it depends on the type of food you feed him. some foods don't agree with their stomachs and most of the cheaper food makes them crap more so try changing his food. it might take a while to find the right on but just stick in there

I always heard that the cheaper the food, the more they poop. My pit bull is eating the new food "good life"and he is only going once a day. Try switching his food (watch out for food with corn in it) and see what happens.

You are probably feeding him a food with a lot of fillers which makes them poop a lot more.
