is even better. if she says she's busy friday, then ask when she's free and set the movie up then.
be very specific. if she says yes to question on then you have to have the conversation over again to see when she can go.

seriously, just say what you mean and mean what you say. the way you word the question in this case won't have anything to do with the answer- whoever you're asking already has feelings about you one way or the other as to whether they're going out in public with you. stop being neurotic, grab life by the lapels and shake it like a polaroid picture.
