Hallo! I guess you could take some course at a language school. You will learn it very fast, since English is actually part-French and part-German.
Or you could try looking for German at http://www.omniglot.com in its A-Z index. It has lists several German language-related links. And since this page is in English, you will not find any problems.
By the way, I am mexican, and I am currently learning German, and it is very much like really old english.

German is very easy to learn. I am sure you could find a tape or cd at the store to learn it.

There are tapes and cd's. One cd is A+ German, it was my favorite. It will take a while to learn it well. You could go to this website to translate .
