There are many ways, I'm sure other people will answer with them. There is a nutritional reason for acne to appear and if that is the case for you it might be caused by an allergy. A very common allergy that causes acne is dairy. You can check if it is dairy by eliminating dairy from your diet for six weeks, if your acne starts to improve, you found the cause.
Another is sugar, not chocolate which is high in antioxidants, but refined sugar, eliminate that and any foods with artificial dyes.
There is a vitamin called Pantothenic acid or Vitamin B-5 that helps some people cure acne, take a high dose like a 500MG tablet twice a day for a month and see if that helps.
Of course I'm sure you've heard not to rub your face, use a gentle cleanser, try an oatmeal based soap. Moisturize, I like 'Dr. Hauschka', rose day cream or face cream.
Try to keep the stress in your life to a minimum. Get plenty of exercise, in the fresh outdoor air. Drink a lot of water. Good luck.

Acne has NOTHING to do with the food you eat. It has either a hormonal etiology or has to do with the genetic rate at which your skin exfoliates. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks diet CAUSES acne is seriously misinformed. Further, you will NOT get rid of acne without either topical or oral medication. See a dermatologist if you are serious about clearing your acne and preventing even more scarring. He/she will work with you to find something that is both effective and most appropriate for you.

First of all there no easy way to treat the scars. A dermatologist can help you there. There are some great herbal remedies for acne if you are sure that's what it is. Acne is best handled by diet in most cases and something on the area to prevent infection. See a naturopath or herbalist. They can help you find a natural remedy.

You can prevent acne scars by using a gentle medicine and an oil-free face moisturizer. If you already have acne scars, it may be difficult to remove them without some sort of prescription medication, unfortunately.
