well, usually when you just started ur period ur body is kinda trying to get used with this new thing that's why sometimes it's abnormal but it's just a phase and usually after a year from the first time u had ur period, ur body will catch up and u will have ur normal period every month. Girls will keep growing until the age of 22, so u still have 6 yrs to go. Milk has calcium that is essential to the growth of ur bone but milk is not used to make u grow tall. Milk is to give ur bone a good density because of calcium in it. Tall or not tall has more to do with genetic. So, if your mom and dad are tall, you should not worry bout it too much because there have been cases people did not grow tall until they are 18, so don't worry too much. I think another thing u might want to do is to exercise, specially swimming because by that, you give ur body to grow without any gravity involves in it because when ur floating in the water, gravity becomes zero, so that way it gives ur body more chances to grow without pressure from ur weight or gravity :)

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that technically you don't stop growing until you are like 21, height-wise. The bad news? I reached my peak height of 5'4" when I was 16 and that was that. I wanted to be taller SO bad, but it never happened. Just embrace who you are. After a while I was jealous of people who were shorter than me - they were popular and pretty, dainty little ladies with all the guys in tow of their cutsie ways.... you have the upper hand if you ask me!!! It's all about genetics. Look at your parents, if they are both shorter than average, you are going to be shorther.

see your doctor, get him to give you a bone age test. It will show where you are in your growth, and give a guess about how much more you might grow. you might be eligible for growth hormone, which you take as a shot every night.
I kept growing, even in college, so you may just be taking the long way to tall. a good way to figure out how tall you might be is to find out how tall you were when you were 18 months old, and then double that. it is usually correct to within an inch or so.

Not all people will grow to be tall, or "normal" Your body won't start regulating it's function til out of adolescence. So don't be so worried about your period.
About your heght, it's all genetics, so if your mom/dad/sibling are short, your best bet is going to be to be short. Just don't worry about height. Remember, height is a gift, speed is an essence. that's what they taught me in bball

I am also short on the short side of the gene pool, but my family mostly my height. Your height is probably genetic. The upside of being short is that you can get guys to put things up high for you or get them down for you.

dont worry about, im a guy also 16 and im 6'4 so thats pretty d@mn tall. and to tell u the truth i love shorter girls. most guys like petite little girls. and its nothing to be self-conscious about. but if it bothers u that much. then try wearing shoes with more height like sneakers and add some shoe pads in them. but again please dont worry bout ur height im sure ur beautiful.
