Then what does this mean? (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 )
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Does that mean that the christians who do these things are not really christians? Because Paul says "And such WERE some of you". Does this mean that anyone who commits these sins will not get into heaven, because they are in fact not saved?

I'm not attempting to make an argument. I just want to understand. I understand alot about christianity. This is one concept that I just don't get.

Paul is referring to those still under the Law. The last part of that verse: "But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus." This
is telling us that now our sins are covered and God no longer holds them against us, rather, we are found righteous in Gods eyes, through the blood of Christ Jesus.
1 Cor. 3:14-15 tells us: "If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames."
Christians can sin, and these sins are covered by the blood of Christ Jesus, however, God can and will chastise willful sin in a Christians life. Habitual sin can also lead to the loss of "Crowns" in heaven.

What Paul is saying as he preaches is that you should not think that people who do those things are going to inherit the kingdom of God, and that's what some of the people in the audience were, until they were saved, and washed clean by the blood of Jesus.
The bible says the only way to salvation is through Jesus. The people who will inherit are saved, sanctified & justified in the name of the Lord and by the Spirit of God.

Were sinful by nature. There are sins that lead to hell such as the ones you mention if it becomes a lifestyle and is left unrepentant. I believe that there are different degrees of sin. Though, If we repent of our wrong doings we are forgiven.
1John 1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for[a] the sins of the whole world.

I think if we choose to sin,and go our own way we reject God. If we ignore God's commandments the one's that were given to Moses, we maybe condemning ourself.
But, If we are sorry for our sins and choose to follow the love of Jesus and try to do our best, then we are the Human that he came to help.
Jesus is the One that loves us and died for our sins! He redeems all our sins and every sin is forgiven. So any time we read scripture we have to digest the truth. Jesus is the way and the truth.
Fact: Christians have forgiveness immediately with a prayer of repentance. Jesus came to Earth to forgive our sins. If we mean it, all we have to say is; Jesus I am a sinner, help me to do better. I am sorry and need you. Then turn away from sin, honor God, and forgive others that hurt you, and do good for your neighbor. HW

I think this is one of the easiest verses to understand in the Bible.We are saved by Grace ,not by works.
Once you go to Jesus ,He washes your sins away.You are now White as snow.Every time you sin ,you go back to Jesus and He will forgive you and wash you again.
Paul also said those things i wouldn't do,I do.
A Christians battle is forever against the flesh.
Read the many verses that teaches us our battle are spiritual,but we do win the battle by grace.<><

GOD came to this earth in the flesh to show us how to live .He didn't ask us to do anything he didn't do himself.He gave himself so we can be forgiven.Flesh will sin GOD knows this , that's why we LIVE under his GRACE.But for the grace of GOD there go I.1 corn.2:9But as it is written.Eye hath not seen ,nor ear heard,neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that love him.HE's prepared for the one's who don't as well.That's all he ask is for us to love him And to repent[say i'm sorry] when we fall short and we ALL do.

Once your saved, you cant lose it, salvation means forgivness, it doesnt make us perfect.
I appreciate the effort of your argument, but its been heard so many many times.
Everyone sins, everyone can be forgiven, ANYONE. Salvation does not make us perfect people, it just means we strive to be better, and are forgiven, which is something any person can have.

all of us has commited sin,because the first human is commited sin before God commandments,but jesus christ save us from God punishment,so he offer his life to redeem us from pain..and God gave us another opportunity to live..God is great!!!this is all written in the bible
