I've noticed a red mark on my thumb for about 3 weeks now. Its red and kinda of scaly. Its very dry and its only a medium circle of redness on the middle of my thumb. Its not peeling, but it does hurt if I press it... what could it be?
I havent gone to a doctor thinking that it may not be serious...

You should go to a dermatologist, even if it isn't serious they can help it to go away faster so that it wont be painful and uncomfortable.

It sounds like a splinter or thorn has maybe penetrated
the skin at some time and is hidden under the skin. I'd
go to a dermatologist and let them look at it under a
magnifying glass. They can then tell if something is under
the skin, or an inflammation, or possibly nothing much.

Do you dial your cell with that thumb? Or use it to play video games? Could be overuse.

a bug bite? allergic reaction? give it time it will problly go away after a week go 2 a docter

GO TO THE DOCTOR. Even if it's not serious just fo to be safe.
