No it means that you are not a person to hate another just because of what they are. I think homophobes have more issues with being gay and that is why they have to turn against them to constantly reiterate that they are in fact straight. Don't compromise your integrity for some low life who doesn't know any better. Hitler was a homophobe as well, so there is an example of what those people are really like.

No, but your friend is several fries short of a Happy Meal. I'm so far from being Homophobic, some of the people I hang out with are Bi/Lesbian, and we have the best conversations.
Next time that guy calls you Gay, ask him "Why do you wanna know? You lookin' for a date?". Hilarity will ensue.

No. Just because you're not homophobic doesn't mean you're gay. I had some gay people in my high school and i was completely comfortable with them. And i just found out that a friend of mine's mother is a lesbian...and i don't care...she's still awesome.

well you see, some people call you gay if your homophobic becouse your in denial or your trying to cover it with lies others say that your gay if your not homophobic becouse you except them for who they are... which in there eyes for some reason is just wrong. either way both are ignorant and not being homophobic can do nothing with you being gay and remember that all who are streight are homophobic themselves to a certain level or extent (example: someone can say there not clusterphobic but at the same time if they fear death like most do and if you where to force them in a small space w/out much air they most likely would scream and fight back)

I had a gay roommate for a year and a half. Granted he was pretty far in the closet. But it's years latter now & I am yet to go gay.
I would have to say you are putting way too much thought into this though. Your soccer mate told you that you are gay, big deal.

Not being homophobic means that you are accepting of gays and have no problem with them...you don't question their right to share the planet with you.
I'm not homophobic and I'm 100% heterosexual.
You're mature and understanding. Your friend needs to get a clue.

You friend is very ignorant. He must be homophobic OR gay. If you are NOT suffering from arachnophobia, does that make you a spider? Of coarse not!

No. Your friend sounds like a bit of a.. well, you catch my drift. It just means that you really dont mind seeing same sex couples around. It's not a big issue for you, you really couldn't care. If that makes him uncomfortable, thats his problem.

So does not hating accountants make you an accountant? Your friend just have a limited understanding of what being tolerant is.
