run for 30 mins at the beginnig of each day,
go to the gym or go swimming three times a week, do atleast an hour of swimming or cardio (cardio meaning heart racing) thats an hour altogether, not 10 mins on machine, 10 mins break, thats 10 mins on one machine, 10 mins on another machine...etc add it all up. Also do weights and sit ups. Do as much as you feel able, aim to double it by the end of the week.
Then do a light walk/jog or bike ride in the evening for 30 mins.
Sleep for 7.5 hours a night
eat and drink healthily or you wont beable to do the above. Eat 6 small 300-350 kcal meals a day if you are a woman (more if you excercise more) or 350 -400kcal if you are a man(again, more if you excercise more than usual)
drink 2 litres min a day of water.
always always make sure you rest on the off days (-aside from the running in the morning/eve which still should happen each day.)
and and voila.

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad fats, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event. Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. BMI calculator to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age).

You can force your body to lose weight with not enough calories, but if you continue it, you will starve to death. With an abundance of healthy foods, you lose weight just as fast, but only until you reach your ideal weight. You can continue eating this way the rest of your life and always be at your ideal weight.

Impossible to achieve! However do make a start and keep it going you will feel much better once you begin to get near the goal. A word of caution - the professionals will never tell you that unused muscle turns to fat which kills you eventually - avoid overtraining or over sculpting your body!

Depends on how unfit you are. Just try and push yourself as far as you can with training and healthy eating for a month. Of course watching out not to over do it and hurt yourself.

four weeks isn't really enough to "get fit" but may i suggest:

-drink LOTS of water
-do aerobics
-running is extremely healthy
-watch what you eat; no processed foods
