When I got my braces the dentist put in 8 spacers between my teeth so that four brackets are wrapped around my teeth. It may hurt just the tiniest bit.

I had spacers in between my back teeth before I got braces put in. They are basically little rubber bands that are meant to separate your teeth just enough to create room for the brace brackets.

Hi,
Spacers are tiny elastics( like tiny rubber bands) that are placed between the teeth to make a small space between the teeth. They do not hurt, it's like flossing.

They basically just space out the teeth. They dont get farther from eachother but more like it widens you mouth kinda.

they are little rubber bands that your orthodontist puts in between your teeth. they are put there to move your teeth apart just a little bit so that way you have room to put your braces in. here is a picture.

They seperate your teeth, so that when they apply your braces, and your teeth begin to move they don;t ovverlap each other when they move.

spacers are very small, thin disks that go in between your teeth, to move them. They are sooooo small and thin, you would think they would NOT be painful......WRONG......extremely painful!
