chai is a indian spiced tea tastes good ya have to have a taste fro spice like nutmeg cinnamon cloves and has froth foam from milk in shops on top at home the tea bags are just a tad bit spicy reminds me sort of eggnog without the milk and eggs..

Chai is a spiced black tea made with a lot of milk.
Typical spices include cardamon, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Looks kind of lightish red... like hot chocolate made with too much milk.
The taste is sweet, with a light tea flavor along with the spices.... Sort of like a hot apple cider, but 1/3 as sweet.

Chai is a hindi (indian) word for tea...in india...if you ask for chai, you get plain and simple tea...there are varients of chai which involve the spices and all that jazz :)
